Things To Do by TODAY!!!!

Today - 31/10/10, i woke up so early in the morning at about 8am as i've been having craving for Tanglin Nasi Lemak in KL for a long time. So at about 8.45am reached Sha's house & picked up her cousin Fifi for breakfast in Tanglin. Wheeeeeeee. Managed to eat Nasi Lemak & the famous Kuey Teow. The taste of the Kuey Teow will definitely not make me go all the way to Penang just to get Keuy Teow. When i have it here in Tanglin, i could save my 345km drive to Penang for Kuey Teow. That's Right!!

So at about 12pm i reached home after a short drive around KL. Now i got LOADS & LOADS of things to do. Now i'm actually doing laundry for my clothes & later at about 2pm i'm going to go cut my hair & the next destination at about 4pm shall be in the mall at the MAXIS CENTRE to go fix up my email problems on my Blackberry. I've not been receiving emails through my phone for about a month.

Let's just hope i get almost everything done by today as tomorrow is BACK TO WORK DAY. Oh NO!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

10 years ago or more so, i didn't really know what slasher flicks were like. I was more into the Horror Genre such as Exorcist, Poltergeist, Stephen King's The Shining & the clown, IT. Till then came a title of a slasher flick called Scream. The first 12 minutes of the movie was very psychotic. Imagine a girl alone at home baking popcorn watching TV & the next thing that comes out is the phone ringing & she picks it up. It's a guy who she thought was pranking her till it became deadly & serious. So this guy plays games with her asking her to guess which horror movie she likes & later on murders her violently, stabbing her more than 10 times & hangs her up on a tree full of blood.

That was when i knew what slasher movies were like. The girl was Drew Barrymore. So the whole Scream franchise was up to a Trilogy till year 2000 with the heroine Sydney Prescott played by Neve Campbell in all the trilogies. David Arquette & Courteney Cox plays detective & reporter in all 3 Scream franchises alongside Neve Campbell surviving the serial killer fest known as Ghostface in all 3 Screams. The first 2 movies were great as they cast Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jada Pinkett, Jerry O Connell, Rose Mc Gowan & Liev Schreiber in it. The third one was a bit dull but it was still alright.

Now after 15 years since the first movie, a fourth installment is out. SCREAM 4 is out in theaters April 2011 with the original trios coming back in action with new stars such as Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Adam Brody, Lucy Hale, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, & Marley Shelton. As i can see from the trailer it looks good & twisted. You'll never know who's gonna live or die. It's a new decade with new rules of surviving ghostface.

THUMBS UP!!!! This is one movie i'm keeping myself available to watch next year when it comes out. Happy Halloween everyone!!!!

Let's Go To The Mall

So today Sha & I decided to walk around Pavilion around 2pm. We usually hate going to Malls on weekends due to the craziness as we have to find parking & people are definitely going crazy when they are at malls. Malls such as Sunway Pyramid, Midvalley Megamall, OU, The Curve and even KLCC is just too crazy to handle. I would rather sit at home & go online then going on war with people in the mall.

However, Pavilion is diiferent as it is not hectic & crazy unlike other malls. Yes it's full of COUTURE from LV, Prada, Gucci or even Salvatore Ferragamo & it's true rich people go there but whatever! Coz i could still afford more than half the places there (EXCLUDING most of the couture). Well for me it's one thing going to the mall, you don't have to buy expensive stuffs there.

I could actually chill at the Cafes around there or even check out NICE CARS. For me NOW! i wouldn't mind driving all the way to KL on weekends to chill at Pavilion. More to say peaceful but yeah the parking is quite expensive though. Haih. I really got to work hard to earn more money.

Waterfall here i come....

Last Sunday my friends & I decided to BBQ at the waterfall. I was Po & To's idea of going to the waterfall. I was soooo excited coz the last time we went to the waterfall was New Year's. Sha was the one who googled for the waterfall location. As I was on the way to the waterfall, Sha explained that there was 7 levels of waterfall.

Big dreams she had was to go to the 3rd level of the waterfall. So when we reached there, many monkeys gathered nearby as they were actually looking for food near the dustbin & everywhere they could find food. Bad bad monkeys. There was Papa Monkey looking out for his Baby Monkeys which were busy hunting food.

As we were going up to the waterfall, everyone & including me could not get pass by the 1 level of the waterfall. I was so pale & tired of walking that all of us decided to find an empty spot for BBQ. We managed to find a place & we started BBQ-ing. The big dreams we had going to the 3rd level. Haha. Very funny.

As for BBQ we had Chicken, Sausages & Prawns. I was still sick at that time. Had fever for the past 5 days. Well i over worked myself up by working extra hours in the office till i got really sick but i have to say i'm happy now that i'm perfectly fine. We were so hungry that we ate almost everything we bought.

At about 6pm all of us decided to leave with a really full stomach except for me who actually bought more snacks to eat while driving. Such a nice wrapped up weekend.

Dreams I Have..

A few years back or more to say 6 years back i used to have this dream that i'll be working in a Media company. The reason is because when i was 16 & in high school 3 of my friends & I had this huge dream to set up a society in school a make history by inventing a Journalist Club. During some classes we would steal some time to discuss how we could actually build a club & start producing newsletters.

One fine day we gather some money to start printing newsletters & we made it. We tried to sell a copy of a newsletter for RM1. We managed to get at least 100 people to buy it. We walked around the whole school to promote our newsletter and to participate in our club. The respond was quite good & for one whole year we were active in the Journalist Club. Somehow the following year when i was 17, one of my teachers approach me to be a reporter for our school magazine. I was THRILLED.

For that one whole year i was very ambitious & i knew what i wanted & what i wanted to do was get into Mass Communication in college & when i graduate i will be working in a media company. As the years gone by i ended up in the opposite side of things that i planned. I was studying Banking for a brief while which i found it hard to cope & now i'm working in a bank.

I guess life is not how u plan it to be but how it's planned to be & u go through it day by day enjoying every moment u have before u turn old & grey.
