My Fav Cigarette Brands

For the past 6 years i have tried out a few Cigarette brands. Well my main brand would be L&M. It has been with me for about 2 years already & it's my longest ever brand that i have been sticking with. I started out with Dunhill Reds & in between i did try out Gudang Garam & occasionally Pall Mall Menthol & Winston Reds. Winston was considered one of the longest time for about a year. Gudang Garam was seldom smoked as I did only buy it when i'm shortage of money. It cost rm3 now if i'm not mistaken.


L&M started 2 years back when i discovered they have Triple Mint Flavour & i thought it was different from any brand that has Menthol plus it's cheaper than Dunhill and now that they have this minty falvour in between the filter. Now the price for L&M is about RM7.80. It's different now too as it sells in a box of 21 compared to others that is 20's in a pack. Sampoerna Menthol was also one of the main brands before i discovered L&M.


This year itself i did try out a new cigarette that is Tax Free which is June. It's a slim cigarette in a pack of 20's. The price is really cheap as it is RM3. The last time i went with my friends to get it, it was sold out. I've not bought June before but i did try it out so frequent to the point i asked my friend how much is it. Just as i was planning to get it, it was sold out & if i'm not mistaken they don't sell it anymore.


So today during lunch break with my friends, one of my friend met her old friend at one of the mamak stalls somewhere near masjid jamek lrt station. I saw him holding June cigarettes. I forgot to ask my friend to ask him where he got it coz i thought now that i have been reducing smoking, so why not get those cigarettes as it is cheaper than L&M. I really do have to consider budgeting my money & plus i do want to get a new laptop once my salary is out next month. That includes saving money for the next few years to get a new car for myself. Hehe. Oh & not to forget that Sha wants me to buy her a Chanel bag badly for her b'day next her. I shall put a note to that. Big dreams i have to fulfill all the criteria but it's not impossible if u do put your money to good use.

MAMEE SLLRRRP - A companion when u need it..

I find Mamee Sllrrrp my life saver through difficult times. Why so is because i remembered when i was working back in March, April & May, towards the end of the month when my salary is not out yet & sometimes payment comes in late, I have Mamee Sllrrrp to depend on. I would go to 7-Eleven to grab Mamee in a cup as it's more convenient for me. Well to me it's easier & faster. Just pour hot water in the cup & wait for awhile to eat it.


My favourite flavour would be Kari Berapi & sometimes i do eat the Chicken flavour. If i'm not mistaken i could recall a flavour which is knid of new to me which is Curry Chicken flavour. Never tried that yet but i'm tempted too. The more spicier it is the more i like it.. :)

MANTRA - Movie Review..

The whole of last week was CRAZY, FUN, HECTIC & BUSY AS A BEE.. I started work & it was really a whole new experience in life. I parked my car at the LRT (train station) & took the train to work everyday as my new office is somewhat 5 mins from the Ampang Park station. Made some new friends there. It was a really quiet environment at work but soon everyone's true colours were out. They are almost just like me.... LAZY. Haha. Im still in my training session for about 5 weeks before i actually start work. Everyone would be requesting TIME OFF for 15 minutes in between trainings for either smoking or making drinks just to kill off time. Really well played guys.. Haha.

Anyways, last Friday i went to watch a malay movie called MANTRA. I went with Sha & my brother Ashraf. When the movie started, i thought it was gonna be some stupid malay movie which is low budget coz i had no idea who the actors were. They are kinda new. As i was watching after 10 minutes it got interesting. HELL YEAH, some spooky storyline about how being possessed actually was. I just can't believe why people would do such thing. What the hell's wrong with these people using black magic to get to their own needs.


I heard stories of things like this happening around but i still can't believe it. The way it was portrayed on how people depend on the devil to get revenge that could cause people's death. SPOOKIE!! People could actually die getting possessed. I do hope someday that these people would die by doing such black magic towards others that are innocent. DIE DIE.. For those who have not watched it, please do so u'll be aware of DANGER coming towards u coz god knows people are so hateful.

GETTING READY FOR A NEW JOB..

Last Thursday & Friday was actually exciting for me. Citibank called me up on Thursday to collect my appointment letter. I start work next Monday - 19th July, 2010. Oh i''m still feeling nervous right now. It's a big company & it's worldwide. The office building itself is huge with more than 40 floors. So on Thursday i went to collect the appointment letter around 4pm & signed some documents. I still can't believe it that i got a job offer from them. I still think it's a dream.


So Friday i actually had to go for a medical checkup. First it was a urine test, so i was pretty clueless of what else they would want from me because the last time i went for a medical checkup was 5 years ago & i can't recall what else they actually have in mind. The second task was to get an X-ray. They told me to go out of the office building to get to a clinic which is the opposite of their office building. They must be crazy, really??!! in the middle of KL i had to walk & cross over, knowing KL so well with their busy roads & millions of cars passing by really fast.


After the craziness settled, i had to fill up some questionnaires & straight away went to see the doctor for minor checkup. The last part was scary though as i had to do my blood test. I hate needles because i've no idea whether the doctor is gonna be good at handling this as i'm used to 2 places for blood tests - Baljit Clinic in Bangsar & Damansara Specialist Hospital. The doctor looked so old that i was afraid he would poke the needle somewhere else.


Apparently i had to see another doctor to get my blood test done. Here's how the conversation went :

Me : Hi!! Good Morning
Lady Doctor : Good Morning!!
Me : Is there any other way u can poke the needle else where (knowing there's only one place to poke the needle).
Lady Doctor : Don't tell a doctor what they're supposed to do. I'm just doing my job & i know my job well.
Me : Okay i'm sorry i was just asking. i'm afraid of needles.
Lady Doctor : look somewhere else while i get it done.
Me : okay :( thank you.

I'm sorry i annoyed you, doctor. I understand u had to entertain WHINNY people since morning & me being whinny too does not help you much too. Hehe. So here i am today still feeling nervous & also excited to start work this Monday. :)

MISERY JULY..

To recap the whole thing that happened last week was crazy.. I had my car broke down because of the battery pack, & then a car hit my car right after that. Oh & on the same day right after my car was fixed, i was rushing to Uniten, Bangi for my exams & for some reason the queue at the toll was long. Apparently their system shut down so i had to reverse my car to get to the other lane which was still a long queue. By the time i reached Uniten, i was 10 minutes late for my exams.


To have made my day better, my girlfriend & I planned to go watch a movie & she wanted to watch Twilight so badly so we rushed to the ticket booth to get the tickets. Later on, i got a call from a recruitment agency which i went for an interview & they told me that i got the job offer in Citibank. I was sooooo happy because i didn't think i'll make it through. I remembered going for 2 interviews with Citibank & it was really SCAREEEEEY..


2 days after that, my car tyres went flat. So there goes, more money to come out. I've been jobless for almost 2 months & all of these are happening NOW????!!!!. Last Sunday i managed to changed to go to the workshop to get new tyres. The suckiest part was i went to Maybank to run errands for my mum. There were loads of cash to be put in. Somehow the machine was stuck & RM600 was in it at that time so i had to call up Maybank customer service to lodge a report.


A few days after that, i realized my road tax was expiring. I had to go renew it & it'll be ready by next Monday. Oh, the things i go through this month is just crazy.

TOY STORY 3 - Movie Review

FINALLY!!!! I get to watch TOY STORY 3 tonight. After the long wait & the buzz from people that it's the best movie of the year, i made a lot of attempts to watch it. It first started last week if im not mistaken on Friday. Sha & I watched DESPICABLE ME coz Toy Story 3 was full. We tried booking online for Saturday & Sunday but it was still full. The showtime was 11am & 4pm during the weekends. There were only 2 slots in a day??!! I finally got to book for Monday but i was too tired coz of World Cup & i didn't have enough sleep. So today i got to watch the 9.30pm show in One Utama but the seats available was the front row seats. OMG, people actually watch movies on Tuesdays!!?? Sheesh people go to sleep!! u have work tomorrow. Hehe..


This is actually the last installment of Toy Story. Oh man, i'm gonna miss it. BUZZ LIGHTYEAR, WOODY, MR & MRS POTATO HEAD, JESSIE, REX, HAMM & SLINKY DOG. This are the characters that has been in the Toy Story franchise for a very long time. The first movie came out in 1995. It's been 15 years already. There are a few villains in this movie i find cool like BIG BABY, LOTSO & the annoying monkey. In the beginning they showed a few clips of the orphans which i laughed coz they look like GREMLINS with different coloured hair.


I have to say after watching Toy Story 3, this is one of my favourite movie of the year. It's rare to have a sequel as good or even better than the first installment. For those who have not watched it, this is a must watch or u'll be missing out on something that is worth ur 1 hour 45 minutes.
