PENANG 1.01

Last 2 weeks on a Wednesday I headed to Penang for a 3 Days 2 Nights trip. Sha wanted the beach & the sun to get tanned. Took my car 'Robert' for the 320KM drive to Penang. Along the way for breakfast as usual we bought nasi lemak in Taman Tun nearby Secret Recipe & 7 Eleven. We reached Penang around 12pm. We were not so hungry yet so we waited till 3pm to find for Nasi Kandar. So we ended up at Line Clear's Nasi Kandar.

Among all the Nasi Kandar in Penang, i like Line Clear coz of the 'Ayam Kicap'. We were extremely full but then we decided to get a cup of Cendol somewhere near Chulia Street. The roads were hectic though as it was rush hour & it was close to 5pm & people are starting to leave the office. I got 5 days off from work as i thought starting Wednesday onwards & i needed the break to enjoy myself before i get back to work on Monday.

Around 5pm we planned to head on to the beach & Sha wanted to get tanned but plan was failed & the weather was cooling rather than hot. It was gonna rain somehow. At about 7pm we planned to find the famous Kuey Teow in Gurney Drive but failed too as the old man is no longer selling Kuey Teow or maybe his son is now in charge of his business. I have no idea.

After Gurney Drive we drove to Masjid Kapitan Keling to get Nasi Kandar Beratur. 2nd Nasi Kandar of the day. Man.. This is what i call Nasi Kandar day. Just can't get enough of it. If u guys are planning to go to Penang & wants to know the direction to the place u can always post a comment & i'll help out with the particular locations.

So we decided to head on to Batu Feringghi to get DVDs. Sha bought Sunglasses for herself & we were de-touring along the sides of the stalls & decided to eat Fried Oysters. So we drove around Batu Feringghi to check out other cool places around. Well there was Hard Rock Cafe but we decided to head on back to town.... To Be Continued....

This is the date that marks our 3 years anniversary as a couple. I can't imagine how long it has been & for me it has been a remarkable 3 years together. As the years pass by both of us has matured & we have reduce much of fighting with each other.

These past 3 years we would have our monthly anniversary celebrated & if it is not something special, we would still go out for dinner & enjoy each other's company eating at food stalls. Sha has been really great to me throughout the entire time we've been together.

I remembered the first time i met her was when she was with my cousin Lala in a shopping mall. What i did was stared at Sha for the longest time & did not talk to her. Why i was staring?? coz she put too much make up on. Maybe while i was away in Segamat didn't do me justice to even see a girl that has yet to put on make up & look really gorgeous, so when i looked at her i was STUNNED. She really does know how to carry herself well.

So about a couple of months later, I had her number but never called & somehow we talked in Friendster (at that time Facebook was not really IN yet, hehe). So i came back to KL to meet up with her & during my semester break i was working & yeah i did meet up with Sha a couple of times & at the date - 12.01.2008 we officially got together.

Sha has been great by being supportive & has always been there for me no matter what happens. She has also been the one that supports whatever i'm doing as now i'm working & i have yet to complete my Degree in 2 years. Also to thank those who have been there for me (you know who you are, guys) when Sha & I comes towards rock bottom at times.

2011 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone. I have been shutting off from the blog world for awhile due to myself being so OCCUPIED with stuffs. Settling off education bills (Thanx Shepie), crossing fingers on my confirmation in my company, saving up cash & EARNING more cash to pay off my monthly car installment. What else???? I somehow got an off day on new year's eve.. YAY!!!! As my job requires 24 hours shift. Hmmmm. Anyways, less talk on personal life & how it goes on a daily basis, New Year's Eve was remarkable for me. Sha baked cake for our friends as we were to meet up at my cousin Sarah's place for dinner & to celebrate New Year's on her house balcony to catch up on FIREWORKS.

As for dinner we had LAMB MANDY from Ar-Rawsha..... YUMMMM.... Dessert was CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CAKE from Sha.

Sha & I stayed till 1am & we decided to go back home.

TRON - The Legacy (Movie Review)

Last week on Wednesday, I got free tix to watch TRON in Sunway Pyramid with Sha. I've been wanting to watch this movie for soooo long as i've been watching the preview of the movie. I didn't get to watch it in 3D but oh well as long as i get to watch it i'm all good.

2 things to watch this movie - 1) The Graphic is just AMAZING (it's been awhile since i watched a Sci-Fi movie, didn't really like Avatar though but the last best ever Sci-Fi was Star Wars) & 2)OLIVIA WILDE (she's just 'Drop Dead Gorgeous').

It would be more awesome if it was in 3D. The lightings & the slow movements suits the 3D perfectly. The colour for each of their outfits are either Black & White or Black & Orange. There's the other hot babe in the movie but she had a small role in the movie - Beau Garrett.

Even though the movie title was Tron, but it was not all about Tron as it was more to the other characters such as Jeff Bridges's character & his clones which one of them was Tron. This movie as for rating would be 8.5 out of 10.

Macaroon's @ Nathalie's

Last week on Tuesday during the public holiday which was the new year in the Muslim calendar, Sha & her cousin Fifi decided to grab early breakfast in Tanglin. As usual we had Nasi Lemak & also Kuey Teow. Yums.

At about 11am, out of the blues i decided to go to work & get some of my work done as timing is so crucial & i have one more month to prove it that i have the chops to work in my company. Heeeee. At about 1pm Sha called me up to pick her up as we were supposed to try out the Macaroons at Nathalie's somewhere in Solaris Dutamas, Mont Kiara. People have been saying how delicious the macaroons are.

When we arrived there, it turns out that the macaroons after all is DELICIOUS. Its very filling i have to say. There are soo many flavours to pick & i had no idea which to pick. Ended up i picked flavours such as Nougat, Chocolate, Lychee Rose & Caramel. Man it was so hard to pick the flavours there & half of the flavours seriously i had no idea what it was actually. The dessert there overall was alright for me. It was not my cup of tea but the Macaroons are FANTABULOUS.

Fishy Oh Fishy

A week ago, Sha & I decided to buy fishes. I've been buying small tiny fishes but sadly they lasted less than a week. So this time around i've decided on getting Gold Fishes as they last long enough to see them grow bigger & it probably will live for a couple of years.

Sha bought 2 more fishes to add in with her one & only Gold Fish named 24 Hours. That fish lasted for so many months since her birthday this year in March, while i bought 2 gold fishes too.

Sha named them 'Eyeball' & 'Eyelash'. Eventually these 2 fishes are the longest living fishes with me & somehow today when I came back home one of the fish died. I have to say it could be my fault that i didnt change the water earlier.

So now there's only one left & it is sad that it's friend died. It could be of overfeeding them that sums up to the water being dirty & the fish died. Now i have to go get a friend for one of the fishes.

Rapunzel - Movie Review

Sha dragged me to watch Rapunzel on Friday with her cousin Yaya. After work i rushed back home to get ready & to go through the usual jam on Fridays but to my surprise it wasnt that bad of a jam once i reached Kerinchi Link heading to Hartamas & straight to Penchala Link to reach Taman Tun.

We reached Cineleisure @ The Curve at about 8pm & grabbed dinner which i ordered Terriyaki Chicken & Sha ordered Teppanyaki. Movie was at 9.30pm. We discovered that there was a Blackberry shop somewhere on the 1st floor. I really can't look at gadgets coz once im in the shop it's hard to leave the shop empty handed. I'll be saying to Sha that i must get that new Blackberry Torch, it's a must coz it's new in the market & people are starting to use it. I do admit i have a KIASU side of me that i can't control. Hehe.

At about 9.45pm the movie started & seriously i can't remember how this particular fairy tale ended. I was trying to figure out how Rapunzel's life was & how it ended. It was a funny movie though. If boys were to watch it & think it's only for girls - you are wrong coz there's nothing wrong in watching Disney cartoons & that involves female cartoon characters. Clearly some of you grew up not knowing what's Mickey Mouse or even going to Disneyland whatsoever.

This movie is funny & there's quite a lot of humor in it that you could be laughing & laughing. I seriously have never watched Rapunzel ever before this & i didn't know that there was a Rapunzel cartoon movie way back in those years when i was little.
