All About FRIDAY - 30/4/2010

So earlier in the morning I went to work. It's a FRIDAY!!!! It's the day where i actually do not have to wear SHIRT & tuck-in my shirt & also wear those shiny black LEATHER shoes. it's T-SHIRT DAY & JEANS. this is the day where u get excited for the last day of the week for work. i came to the office today with my RESIGNATION letter. it's actually a one month notice due to the contract because i surpassed my probation month where i could actually give a 24 hour notice.

For me it's been a very BAD month. sales have dropped for me. from being HERO i went down to ZERO. it has affected my commission badly for May's salary. i also had 3 days of UNPAID leave thanx to my FINALS which had been postponed to a weekday instead of a weekend due to the exam paper released few days earlier before the paper was scheduled & the fact that they gave me the wrong paper for my other subject for finals.

Back to the situation in the office. I waited & waited for my boss to come to the office. i just really wanna get it over & done with by passing him the resignation letter. oh well, he came really late to the office. at about 11am, i went & passed the resignation letter to him. he was shocked that i was actually resigning. his was really bummed. he asked me why all of a sudden & why didn't i discuss this matter with him earlier. i told him that it was actually time i move on to work somewhere else & get the opportunity to actually run& learn more about the petrol station business that is actually run by my family. i would actually like to explore other things in life too.

i was partly sad that im leaving by the end of may as i have made lots of friends there & quite relaxed with the job. i work from 9am till 4pm. what else more could u ask from the company. they have been one of the best i have been working with the past 2 years i started working. well since MAY is my last month of work, im going to GRAB all the sales i can & leave the company with a mark that i am/was one of the best staff they have/had in their company's history. This is what happens when u are in the SALES line.

American Idol Final 6, Siobhan Magnus is OUT..

So again for this week i downloaded Idol & watched both the FINAL 6 performances & the results show. For me i think all 6 of them were GREAT. None of them failed to impress the judges & the viewers though i think Michael Lynche & Crystal Bowersox did not really perform as expected by the judges & they did not amaze me that much. Well well, Shania Twain was the mentor for this week & she did a really great job making all 6 of them sing really really well.

The next episode which was the results show, we had performances from Rascal Flatts, Shakira & we had some clips of Cameron Diaz & Carrie Underwood promoting their latest success. Not to forget the results were announced one by one as the remaining 6 were divided into 3 groups. Aaron & Crystal were in a group, Siobhan & Lee in a group, & Michael & Casey in a group. Ryan announced that Aaron & Crystal were SAFE and so does Lee. So Siobhan had to join the other group consisting of Michael & Casey.

The BOTTOM 3 - Casey, Michael & Siobhan. I was routing for Michael to leave because he was voted out before & saved by the judges so i thought it was time for him to GO!! The person sent to safety was Michael. Sometimes i can't stand his cockiness. it's just annoying. so we are left with Siobhan & Casey. none of these 2 deserved to be there. So the 7th person leaving Idol is Siobhan. We actually see a footage of her journey & after that she performs her SWAN song which is 'Think' by Aretha Franklin which actually made her the front runner for Idol back in the TOP 20 performance. After she sang the song, Ryan stated clearly to her that Simon actually is really gonna miss her so she hugged all the 4 judges. they are well really really SAD that she's leaving the competition. OH NO we don't get to see her SCREECHING at the very last end of almost any song she sings & i find that last note of hers CRAZY, how the hell does she do that. it's just so UNBELIEVABLE.

Reality TV Shows.....

While some of u might know the hills, the city & jersey shore & some of u might not know it. it is actually the reality TV Shows in MTV that is really doing so well & is much of a BUZZ in some countries. Now they are premiering the last season of the hills, the 2nd season of the city & the 2nd season of jersey shore.

The thing is these reality shows are really short & it takes 30 minutes (including commercial) to wrap up an episode. these reality TV stars are making big bucks & one of their most BUZZED star Lauren Conrad is making USD 125,000 per episode & imagine in one season she can easily fork up 2.5 million by just walking around, talking to friends, create drama, go to clubs, shopping & party. it just takes 5 minutes of your time in front of the camera to get that much of amount per episode.

Here in Malaysia there is so far no reality TV shows that actually records a person's daily life & what they actually do day by day. i guess no one would even watch & people would actually want their own privacy.PLUS, there is no way u could actually do things that would not be accepted by people in Malaysia. There is always a limit to things & there is quite a lot of rules to follow & u can't go beyond certain things. other reality TV shows such as American Idol, Akademi Fantasia, One In A Million & Dancing With The Stars are not reality shows where the contestants get paid because they are the one participating to get a shot in the Media Industry.

Surprisingly, these reality shows get a lot of money by the end of the season because this is where there is the voting system. "VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE" "DON'T LET THEM GET VOTED OUT TONIGHT" YADA YADA YADA. the amount of votes people actually make is surprisingly A LOT!!!! There was this particular reality show that was called LAGUNA BEACH which was the start of people getting ideas on how to create more reality shows because people actually watch these shows. American Idol & Akademi Fantasia has gone through more than 8 seasons & it is still the most BUZZED shows.

The Hills is the longest reality show running for about 6 seasons & this year will be the last season for The Hills because apparently some of the stars are actually pursuing their career with their own reality TV show. I consider these people LUCKY because u get paid a lot for just doing nothing much that is tiring but instead something that u enjoy doing everyday. While some people actually have to work their ass off for a lot of money. I guess that's how life is. Till then will update more interesting news & SCOOP of TV shows..

American Idol Final 7, Idol Gives Back & The RESULTS Show....

So last night i downloaded the latest episode for American Idol. I am a huge FAN of American Idol. i started watching idol since season 3 when Fantasia Barrion won Idol. So last night it was the final 7 comprising of 5 guys & 2 really talented girls. This season i see a girl winning Idol & it's obvious that it is Crystal Bowersox. she has been the most consistent contestant this season & has outclassed the other contestants of American Idol.

i'm not really a fan of her much because for me i find her plain with no superstar quality, & the feeling of what she is actually gonna sing next because i do get excited only when Siobhan Magnus or Lee Dewyze perform. the others not so much. while my favorite contestant Didi Benami was shown out the door 3 weeks ago, i'm routing for Lee or Siobhan. the others are not that much interesting.

so im back to the final 7 show, the FINAL 7 performs & the next episode is IDOL GIVES BACK!! The last time i remembered American Idol had the idol gives back show was 2 years ago during David Cook VS David Archuletta season. so now back to the show, Casey James started of the show & he sung okay, nothing special. it's a really SAFE song to me. next is Lee Dewyze & he sung well but at times it was pitchy for me but the judges liked it. Clearly they want him to be in the finals with Crystal. after that Tim Urban sang & he picked the right song choice that suits his voice but it didn't go too well.

Aaron Kelly was up next & he sounded bad in the beginning but managed to pull it off towards the end but still i don't see any star quality in him yet. As for Siobhan Magnus, i thought she sang it okay but then again when u sing a song from Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, u will always be compared to the original artist. remember Katharine McPhee when she sung a Whitney song & she sang it well but then the judges will always compared it to the original which kinds of sucks because u have to be judging them based on the personality & vocal ability towards the song they are singing.

Next we have Michael Lynche who sang it average & i think his time is up & he might get the boot next week. The last spot goes to Crystal Bowersox who actually in my opinion i think outclassed the other singers tonight with her performance. For the next episode i was a 2 HOUR LONG results show that was also IDOL GIVES BACK. we had Queen Latifah co-hosting with Ryan Seacrest & also George Lopez to criticize the JUDGES (for viewers entertainment). it was full of laughter.

We also had a lot of performances. These performances includes Black Eyed Peas, Joss Stone, our own MENTOR for the Final 7 contestant, Alicia Keys, Annie Lennox, Elton John, Carrie Underwood (Season 4 winner), Mary J Blige & Orianthi (again). we even had Jennifer Garner & Victoria Beckham to display their clip of IDOL GIVES BACK. as for the judges, Randy, Kara, Ellen & Simon had their share on their clips of Idol Gives Back.

Back to the results, Crystal, Lee, Siobhan & Michael are save. that leaves Casey, Tim & Aaron in the bottom 3. Aaron is put back to safety which leaves Casey & Tim. Casey is safe & Tim is the 6th person to be booted out of IDOL. So they displayed a clip of Tim Urban footage & the show ended. Till then will update next week's FINAL 6 show & results.

MIND CORRUPTION on how I actually see it.....

When u were in school or let's just say when u are/were in college, did u ever come across any lecturers who tells u that TV/Media is the biggest corruption that leads to SEX, VIOLENCE, DRUGS and so on. Im sure there is someone that has been repeating to u over & over that it's a bad influence. Let me just be more specific that actually TV & MEDIA is not fully the responsibility of sex,violence & drugs.

The purpose of having censorship in Malaysia is really good but from what i see when i do read the newspaper, there are sooo many rape & robbery cases. Surprisingly for me, these rape cases don't really happen much in the city where people have more exposures to the Media. In rural area, these people are the ones who has more cases of rapes. The most disgusting thing that usually happens is when father RAPES!!! daughter, grandfather RAPES his grandchildren. For me it is more disturbing than hearing of those who actually have sex with Prostitutes, well at least this is not INCEST!!!!!

The weird thing is how do these people from rural area come up which such ideas of doing so, i mean obviously we have CENSORSHIP but to say TV is corrupting people's mind?? Not fully true because these people who does so must get help immediately by going to REHAB or something. As for drugs, im actually quite impressed at the fact that people have it in their minds that "Oh the people who live in the city are really corrupted, they take drugs, yada yada yada" but hey it is also people from rural area who does robbery in Malaysia. they snatch people's bags, the harm people until they go to a coma. i mean COME ON, at the end of the day it's the individual & how they should think straight before doing something stupid.

At the end of the day, individuals are to be blame for not thinking straight & doing things that they will regret. don't blame it much on the media. they are just bringing in ENTERTAINMENT & there is a reason why we have AGE LIMIT for certain movies so we know exactly when we watch a movie, we don't APPLY & ADAPT to it. It's ENTERTAINMENT!!

Penang Oh Penang

Hey guys, i actually wanted to share with u my trip to Penang. actually i went to Penang last 2 weeks which was on the 9th of April till the 11th. so sorry for the really late update. Me & my friends actually went to Penang after the long wait for not going for a vacation in a whole lot BUNCH of us. honestly, i have never actually went to Penang with friends & most of the time i go there with family. so before we actually shoot off to Penang i was determined to guide the others as to where the locations for the famous NASI KANDAR, KUEY TEOW, MEE GORENG & SOTONG BAKAR. but GUESS WHAT i sucked at directions & we were lost when we arrived to Penang. we had to rely on the GPS to look for the places to go to.

First stop when we arrived to Penang was Nasi Kandar Line Clear. this was actually my first time eating there. if i were to go to Penang i will specifically eat nasi kandar at just one particular restaurant which is in Union Street (but we never made it there to eat our entire journey in Penang). OKAY!! Back to Line Clear. we actually went around more than 10 times to look for the place. We managed to find it after 45 minutes. i have to say the food was awesome. i have never
tasted a better "Nasi Kandar" than this. i was SOOO HAPPY i actually ignored everyone around me & just started eating. i give it a 9/10.

our next stop was the hotel we checked-in to. it was Tanjung Bungah Hotel. i have to say Tanjung Bungah is quite strategic as it is in between the Ferringhi Night Market & also Gurney Drive. so during the evening we kind of went to the Beach to enjoy the view & the hot sun. later on at around 7pm we drove to Ferringhi to EAT & SHOP. i didn't really buy much stuffs there but i did get a ZIPPO lighter that is exactly the shape of a CIGARETTE. later on at about 9pm we went to Gurney Drive to continue our eating spree. we were looking forward for the famous kuey teow but sadly it was closed at that time so we ate Sotong Bakar & 'Mata Kucing' with Jelly. i must say it is really DELICIOUS.

the next day which is on Saturday we had breakfast in the hotel & we headed out to town for a really late lunch after spending time at the beach after breakfast. we were actually looking for the famous 'mee goreng'. it was in Bangkok Lane. they really do have delicious 'mee goreng'. im the kind of person who actually does not eat mee goreng much but if it's Bangkok Lane mee goreng, i'm all for it. Hehe. later in the evening we spent most of our time at the beach SWIMMING.. at about 8pm we headed to town again & had Nasi Kandar AGAIN but but.. SOMEWHERE else. we had nasi kandar at Nasi Kandar Beratur. i have to say BINGO!! another great awesome place to eat nasi kandar. the food is delicious & based on the restaurant's name, there were actually soo many people queuing up to get Nasi Kandar. there must be a reason why they call it Nasi Kandar Beratur. later at night we went to Hard Rock Cafe but sad to say it was packed with people & we could not get a table to sit & enjoy the LIVE BAND. oh well, it's SATURDAY NITE!! what do u expect?! so we went back to town again & we hit a club called MOIS.

the next day we woke up really really late & i almost missed breakfast. thank god i was just on time say about 10 minutes before the cafe's closed. so after we checked-out from the hotel we went & bought a few things to bring back to KL for our families & friends. i really do MISS penang a lot. till then, will update & share more interesting places soon. DREAMS.......................

Last weekend, when i woke up on Sunday morning I realized that i had a mixture of 2 different dreams. one was a bit weird & the other was SCARYYYYYY!!!! the first dream i had was that me & my girlfriend planned a holiday which was a last minute idea & we brought my GF's best friend & my friend for the planned holiday. the weird thing is in REAL LIFE, my GF is no longer in touch with her best friend & obviously what happened was my GF's best friend was really close to my GF. so as the dream went on, my GF's best friend & my friend kind of had a little CHEMISTRY with each other. OBVIOUSLY in real life they don't know that each other EXISTED. so my first dream ended on that particular ending. i know it's sooo boring for me to post such stories of my dreams but now let's actually get to the 2nd dream....


The 2nd dream for me was actually quite SCARY!!!! WHY?? it's because it kind of seem so real for me. i guess i watch a lot of SLASHER FLICKS that i kind of adapt to the movies i watched. So the dream went on as I was actually stuck in a HUGE BUBBLE & i was held hostage with 5 other random strangers who i don't know off. Basically all of us had a task of ESCAPING for SURVIVAL. HELP HELP!!!! i was thinking of ideas on how do i get out of this BUBBLE. so i came out with this idea that i had to convince the other 4 random strangers to get on each other's THROAT. Hey Hey, i managed to manipulate them to sacrifice one another so i managed to get out of the bubble & I survived. Obviously the bubble had NO AIR!! i was holding on as long as i can to get out of the bubble. after that i woke up from my dream & basically i couldn't figure out what was the right ending to my 2nd dream because i woke up too soon to tell what happened to the other 4 of them. Why don't u post a comment & tell me what should the ending of my 2nd dream would actually be like????


Anyways, i'm also looking for any advertising companies that i could really PROJECT my post for them to read it so i could get 2 SPONSORED tickets to watch the remake of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. KATIE CASSIDY's in it (Soooo HOT!!) IT'S A MUST WATCH!!! Hehe..

PIKOM PC Fair.. Soooooo Many Cheap Gadgets

Last week on Saturday, I went to PC Fair with my girlfriend to check out some cool gadgets there. oh well, my girlfriend is not really much of a fan of PC Fair so when people came & approached her to explain some of the stuffs there, i could see it was BIRD CHIRPING in her head. Even when i try to explain to her some I.T. stuff, she won't get it. TRUST ME. So anyways, when we went there to PC Fair it was actually my first time going in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. I even told my girlfriend that I didn't know the place even existed. She asked me where on EARTH did SITI NURHALIZA got married? i was like OKAY i'm sorry i don't pay much attention to general stuffs like that. So i thought that KLCC was just the mall only. HAHA. what a fool i could be????




So both of us went in & we saw a lot of cools stuffs. i checked out the wireless mouse & it was really cheap. it was like RM10. i bought a webcam to actually skype with my girlfriend & it was the most cheapest WEBCAM ever. it was only RM29. i saw a bunch of people who were actually buying 2-3 PCs or Laptops because it was the end of the bargain. what else could u ask for. A DELL laptop which was about RM1799 came up to as really cheap for me & on top of that u get 18 FREE GIFTS for buying a DELL laptop!!!!! CAN U BELIEVE IT!!!! free COOLER PAD, MOUSE & etc oh and not to forget WINNING A TRIP FOR # DAYS @ NIGHTS to HONG KONG, LANGKAWI & so on.... i was going crazy & obviously my girlfriend was not as crazy as I was because she got a new laptop for her B'DAY..



What i was actually going BONKERS for was the SPEAKERS. they had a lot of COLOURFUL speakers & a lot of different design which i find weird but AWESOME!!!! i did not got the chance to take pictures of the FANCY weird speakers because i was too busy being GOO GOO GAA GAA about the speakers. hehe. all & all i had so much fun going to the PC fair. it was my first time ever & i'm really looking forward for the next PC Fair because im sooo gonna get a new LAPTOP for myself. MARK MY WORDS!!!!............. :)

INTRODUCING MYSELF !!!!

HEY GUYS!!!! for those of you who are actually reading my blog, i'm really sorry that i did not actually introduced myself & started my first post about my daily life & work. if i were you, i'll be saying HUH?? too. hehe. anyways, i'm Azrin Faiz bin Azizudin. i'm turning 23 years old this 29th of May. i'm just a simple guy who goes through a very simple life everyday. i live in Petaling Jaya (PJ). it's actually a great surrounding to live at. very peaceful at night but very busy & hectic during the day especially on FRIDAYS & even LUNCH HOUR everyday. the road would be congested with cars everyday. u would actually hear honking sounds & people fight because of cars blocking the other cars. LOL..

let's just make it simple, so during my school years, i was just an ordinary guy who is friends with anybody. i wasn't the POPULAR guy in school. in my dictionary, finishing SPM & getting out of school was the first TWO things in my mind at that time. sure my life did not turn out to be the way i wanted it to be but hey i started from scratch. usually people my age would be getting their DEGREE or MASTERS & have started applying for jobs, but for me im still doing my degree & working to gain the experience of working. my life doing both studying & working can be fun at times & can be stressful at times. U just have to know how to deal with it.

Thank God It's Friday!!!!

YAY!!!! Is the only expression that i express every FRIDAY. the reason why? Because every day from Monday till Thursday i have to be wearing normal working attire & it's not the weekends. so when it comes to Friday i can wear JEANS & T-SHIRT to work. it also marks the last day of work for the week so im all hyped up for the weekends.

anyways, it's been such a pressuring week i have to say. it sucks for me. every single day has been really sucky but hey i managed to get through it. today at work i was really pressured to hit my sales target. my boss approached me & told me that i should buck it up because he thinks im going BACKWARDS. seriously, i feel like im in a singing competition where someone is telling me im not performing really well. THIS IS AMERICAN IDOL, & IM IN DANGER OF GETTING VOTED OUT. this is what happens when i watch too much of american idol. i can't sing for NUTS.

for me, i just do not wish to go back to where it was the whole week. sales have dropped. honestly i think im the person with the LEAST sales the whole week. i used to be the top 3 performer for sales last month & i can't keep the composure going. for me i am always inconsistent in any things i do. STUDIES + WORK. it's always been a ROLLER COASTER ride for me.
